Beent's are half ant half bee humanoid hybrids of the bulacide family, along with being related to wasps and bees, Its unknown how they evolved but recent discoveries suggest they may have evolved from the

Currently there are 15 discovered species of beents and is therorized to be more still undiscovered. They are easily identifies by their music note like antennae and their white hair.

Apperance

The most common appearance of note is the beent's black skin, and white hair, and simple beady eyes. Music note styled antennae appear atop their head. Beents are fully grown at aproximately two feet in height. Beents possess armored stomach and abdomens, but can be removed without much effort. Glowing flesh inside of orifices can vary, as it is influenced by diet and can difer between individual beents.

beent Societies

Beents can form colonies inside caves or abandoned structures, and these colonies can range from only a few dozen to thousands of beents. All worker beents are female, and are are able to be impregnated; but will lay only a single egg as a result. Beents are social insects. Much like their small cousins, Beents maintain their nest by constantly working with one another, tending the brood and the queen, foraging for food and construction and maintenance of said nest. Unlike ants, beents have a more sociable and mutualistic life with other nearby beent colonies. For example, Beents colonies have put this into practice; some colony of beents were found establishing a public library, while another colony was prioritizing a mutual market for inter-colony commerce. Beents are commonly seen with a poncho throughout the colonies, but there are occasions where lower caste Beents are influenced by their Queen into accessorizing. This has a notable effect on the lower caste's demeanor and behavior.

Mating Seasons

During mating seasons beents gather in wide open areas, These mating seasons start in early spring. During these times male beents will attempt to seduce the virgin female queens with a variety of dances and show of strength by lifting heavy objects around them.

some males will purposfully diguise themselves as females to stray any competition from the real females.

when a male succesfully impresses a female the female will begin to do a small dance in return, after the dance they will proceed to mate.

after the mating sessions male beents will move into the females nest in which he will care for newborns and the queen.

Defense

Beents attack and defend themselves by using primitive weapons the most common of these is a spear However they are capable of stinging and biting.

when a Beent stings or bite they often inject venom into their victim, this venom is considerably dangerous to most animals and humans as their venom prevents blood from clotting and may also cause necrosis to the host's body. Due to the nature of this venom and its effects on individuals it has been given the nickname "beent fever" due to the necrotic effect it leaves on the skin giving it the same color of that of a beents skin.
